The President's Speech

Category: Republicans
Posted on: September 9, 2009 9:22 AM, by Greg Laden

Barach Obama could stumble in drunk and spend a half hour picking his nose and it would be better than what we are used to.

It is so disturbing to put GW after FDR and Kennedy. Why must they set the bar so high for someone with the verbal communication abilities of a two-year-old?

On the bright side, even though I disagree with Obama's overreaching compromises, I can at least listen to him without getting a headache...

Never understood the whole, "Well, he may not be big on no book-learnin' but he's the kinda guy you'd like to have a beer with!"

Bullshit! He looks and acts like the kinda guy that'd be first to get his lights punched out in a bar! A spoiled ignoramus... a punk.

The "guy to have a beer with" thing was a brilliant bit of Republican salesmanship! I guess they took a look at the average American and realized that they are idiots and make decisions with thier (ever expanding) guts. Most Amricans can't be bothered to listen to and figure out issues. if it's not a 5 second sound byte, they can't keep it in their heads. Sadly, that's the sort of up-hill battl rational and thoughtful folks have before them.

I suppose the Republicans are masters of this sort of thing because they actually do think that way?

I think Michelle would permanently banish the President to the living room sofa if he ever showed up anywhere half drunk and picking is nose.

I think that's one thing wives tend to do, at least in theory that is.
