This is why, being more liberal than most Democrats, I have actually considered affiliating with the Socialist Party USA. Because the Democratic leadership is fast approaching the Republicans’ stupidity.
Indeed, I am concerned about how the government is going to fund this whole thing, but I think the public option is necessary.
Here’s the problem, though: how do we get around the Republican PR behemoth (though they may be a pack of sick, twisted, wackjob cretins, they have managed to swindle 48% of the nation into believing their shit) while still taking the high road?
