Looks like Dawkins stunned the audience with his hard-hitting ending:

Words to live by. You never know how people are going to react when you blithely dismiss their fairytale, but the more we do it in public or out in the open, the less room they have to use the "devil panic" defense and become overly upset.

Therefore he should continue to touch on these issues.
