Not to downplay the need for individual action, but until industry is forced to act, taking shorter showers and the bus won't solve anything. Real change will happen when industry is heavily regulated and consumers stop feeling they have a right to cheap products.

well, it would help immensely if we could stop thinking of ourselves as consumers, too. I like the ad though: enough people get convinced to do something, then political action will become possible, too.
