The Ad Hominem that drives me the most nuts is “Poisoning the Well”. Its insidious use by Alfe Kohn, education guru, causes me to pull large handfuls of hair out of my head.
ah Greg, Greg, Greg. I know darn well how much work is involved in finding so many just plain cool links. You have far too much time on your hands, dude, and after the little one arrives I am guessing the rich largess enjoyed by all out here in blog-reader land will, alas, self-truncate…
I came here to see your call for the burning of Ray Comfort’s skulduggery (as claimed by World Nut Daily) but found this instead. The dog rescue brought tears to my eyes. The dog’s companion was so overcome with emotion at the end. I know from similar personal experience that you do have to be careful with the toy breeds around the ocean (luckily the dog with me had a leashed harness on when it jumped off a boat, and I had a good grip).
And here is a follow-up to the dog rescue: Raden honored with Compassionate Citizen Award by Animals Australia.
