Congressperson Steve Israel demands an apology from Michele Bachmann to for tacitly condoning Holocaust imagery

Category: Michele Bachmann
Posted on: November 7, 2009 11:03 AM, by Greg Laden

Michel Bachmann has absolutely no sense of proportion in her personal statements (as a member of congress) or in what she encourages or allows happening around her. She is also an extraordinarily dishonest person. That first bit ... lack of sense of proportion (or shame) is well addressed in the following appeal from Representative Israel. The second will be clear if Bachmann or her associates at Fox respond to this video.

Excellent video.

I'm waiting until someone says 'Sure, you've got the right to free speech, but that doesn't mean what you say isn't going to reflect badly on your character'.

Steve Israel is absolutely correct here. He should sponsor a censure of Bachmann.

Ild write to Bachmann and lodge a complaint, but I found out that Im not a real American anyway, oh and I don't love freedom. I also expect Im one of them there socialist nazis with a bit of communist thrown in.

Well, it's not an apology, but it's something.
