It looks like the Freedom Ship might be dead in the water from the looks of their website.

The Freedom Ship project has never even gotten off the ground -- not even a keel laying. And it's meant primarily to appeal to Libertarians, despite planning out a decidedly autocratic way of government. If it actually happens, I can't imagine it will even begin to deliver on its promises.
