    BdN, thats funny, but inaccruate but don’t tell Beck. The form actually lists the option as “African American, Black or Negro” as one choice.

    (I may have the order wrong, but I know Negro is last.)

    According to research done by the census bureau, 3% of African Americans identify with the term “Negro” (these are older folks). Personally, I think they probably know that they are also “AA” or “Black” and would not have a lot of trouble with a form excluding the word Negro. And many people are wondering why the word Negro is there.

    I for one insist that “Asian or Pacific Islander” be replaced with “Mongoloid, Melanesian, Micronesian, Oceanic or Eastern Pygmoid”
