Emergency petition for health care reform

Posted on: March 19, 2010 2:25 PM, by Greg Laden

This is it: The fate of health care reform will be decided in the next 48 hours.

It could come down to a vote or two. And that means that right now, every last message to Congress makes a difference.

It's an all-hands-on-deck moment. Even if you've already called and written your representative, it's time to send one last message. If you haven't yet weighed in, now's the time. And please send this on to friends, neighbors, colleagues, former roommates, and anyone who cares about health care reform.

A compiled petition with your individual comment will be presented to your representative.

And here is my message to our representatives: look what happened to President Obama's approval ratings, and remember that the mid-term election will be in November. Vote "yes", and kiss your chances for reelection goodbye.

My senators do a great job representing me. I don't like my congressional rep, though. He's gotta go.

HCB is probably "Dr Smart" and various other pseudonyms.

He's appeared on other blogs spewing his semi-literate stuff. By his Christian love shall you know him.

But it's your country not mine, and I can only feel sorry for the millions of uninsured Americans, hope for the best for them and you all, and praise Chthulhu that we have a decent healthcare system here in Australia.
