… He’s a Republican. That’s what makes it interesting.

Actually, this is interesting at two levels. First, he’s a Republican not voting to take away someone’s rights. That is very very rare. Second, he’s a Republican not doing what the Central Control of Congressional Politics (CCCP) of the Republican Party is telling him to do. It is routine for Democrats to vote against the party line because, in part, it’s just a line, not a vigorously enforced form of mind control like it is for Republicans.

John Kriesel will be targeted by his colleagues who will chew him up and spit him out and make sure he never represents that party again. I predict he’ll switch parties before the next election.

    CCCP, that’s a nice one :-)

Oh, and you will probably be very displeased to know that I’m currently looking at an ad paid for by Michele Bachmann on your sidebar, promoting “traditional marriage.”

I like the fact that you praise politicians who refuse to vote to take away people’s rights. Surely you were against PPACA.

Obamacare (PPACA) does nothing of the kind. It GIVES people what has become, or should become, a very fundamental right: The right to NOT be left out in the cold when it comes to health care because you happen to not be privileged.

It is a mean spirited person, indeed, who wants to restrict quality health care only to those who were born with a silver spoon in their mouth or who are members of the robber-baron class or otherwise lucky.

I’m sure that’s not what you are saying. Or is it?
