From US Drought Monitor:
That looks dreadful – and yet the reports finds many regions are ‘improving’ drought-wise. Sympathies to the farmers and others who rely on predictable rain and snow.
My sympathy for the farmers in my state who are suffering is limited by the knowledge that their districts vote consistently for idiot teabagging legislators who deny the reality of climate change and ensure that the state does little as possible either to mitigate it or to adapt to it. Apparently they are not suffering enough yet to open their eyes and look around.

I agree with the sentiment, but viaduct? Why not a goose?
