Michele Bachmann might be the stupidest person who can still breathe.
A New Hampshire high school principal is insisting her membership in a Facebook group lamenting that Barack Obama lived through his first year in office is all a big misunderstanding.
I have not been able to blog about the Fulton Idiocy largely because I can’t bring myself down to the cool, calm, collected level I usually operate at being that I’m a professional blogger and all. I will blog about it, but later. I’ll blog about it mainly because I want this to come true:…

Over the last couple of days, FBI agents have staged a number of raids in Michigan and arrested members of Hutaree, a Christian militia group based there. The Christian Soldiers have been preparing to do battle with “The AntiChrist.” which we suspect either the Democratic Party, the Health Care Bill, or Barack Obama himself. Local…

A statement from the statesman: “Last night was the climax of weeks and months of debate on a health care bill that my constituents fear and do not support. In the heat and emotion of the debate, I exclaimed the phrase ‘it’s a baby killer’ in reference to the agreement reached by the Democratic leadership.…
Or at least that is what we may infer from the recent legislative activity in one of America’s most socially backwards states, Oklahoma.

So, I stop paying attention for a couple of days and Rachel Maddow is now an older white-haired straight white guy??? Whatever, this is an interesting report.
Of particular interest is a move within the AMA to rescind that organization’s support of reform with a public option… What’s up with that?

But Lawrence O’Donnell has set him straight: Michael, you made the 23rd the most important congressional district in the country. The Democrats didn’t do it. You did it. You lost it. You led your party to a disastrous loss that it…

I was originally just going to point to this but it is so intense that I felt I just needed to have it on my site. This is the life blood of the blogger:
Reporters and bloggers rightfully enjoy feeding off of Michel Bachmann’s frequent outrageous remarks, but few have made note of the real problem she poses for the people living in her district.
I love the fact that the tide is turning on Fox. (That might not be the best analogy.) In any event, this is a great example, from Rachel Maddow, of how life is more complex than much of our discourse allows for. And she does it with Walter Cronkite, and all the others on her…
