GrrlScientist is an evolutionary biologist, ornithologist, aviculturist, birder and freelance science and nature writer. A native of the Pacific Northwest, she relocated from Seattle to NYC with her parrots after earning a BS in Microbiology (emphasis in Virology) and PhD in Zoology (Ornithology) from the University of Washington. In NYC, she was the Chapman Postdoctoral Fellow at the American Museum of Natural History for two years, pursuing part of her "dream" research project by reconstructing a molecular phylogeny of the parrots of the South Pacific islands. GrrlScientist has written a blog about science since 4 August 2004 (the early years are archived here) and was part of the original invited group of 14 "SciBlings" -- her only claim to fame. If you appreciate GrrlScientist's writing, please help her pay her living expenses by clicking on the Paypal button below and by voting for her to be the official blogger on a month long adventure in Antarctica. If you read an essay that you especially enjoyed, please nominate it for OpenLab2009.

Ms Wrong -- Ann Coulter -- Busted for Voter Fraud

Topic Categories: Politics
Posted on: November 1, 2006 7:44 PM, by "GrrlScientist"

An Ann Coulter mug shot would make a fine holiday gift, don't you think?

Conservative columnist Ann Coulter has refused to cooperate in an investigation into whether she voted in the wrong precinct, so the case will probably be turned over to prosecutors, Palm Beach County's elections chief said Wednesday.

Knowingly voting in the wrong precinct is a felony punishable by up to five years in prison....

Note the lowered brows and the out-withing pseudo-flippers.

The lower limbs have obviously atrophied and seem to be barely capable of sustaining footware.

This appears to be a Dalek awaiting Davros:

The greatest gift to the Daleks was to provide them with the means to move and to speak at the same time...

OK. I know it's wrong to wish something like that on a person. (Even Ann Counter.) But the thought of her going to prison just makes me warm and toasty inside.

Only question is, will that fabulous "adam's apple" land her in the male federal pound-me-in-the-ass prison?

I don't like her either, but let us not pretend it's ok to joke about her being subjected to sexual assualt.

That is only true for the court of law, not for public or personal opinion. One should try to keep an open mind, but people are entitled to their own opinions.
