You appreciate the finer things in life... wine, art, cheese, love affairs.

But do you start running when you hear someone apeaking German?

I should learn French too :)

Most definitely not. I'm an American at heart and in reality. Why would anyone want to live in a country where, in recent decades, the intellectual sphere has been dominated by flakes like Derrida, Althusser, Baudrillard, Barthes, and Foucault?

When it comes to foreign languages, I took Russian. If some of you think French is hard...

I got told I should learn chinese, and that I'm a 'natural entrepreneur' . The first sounds interesting, but not enough to encourage me to do it. The second made me laugh until I fell out of my chair.

Japanese...I'm apparently cutting edge and crazy. Well the second part's true anyway.

I should learn Spanish because apparently I'm into "career advancement and communication." Huh. Should've thought of that before I learned Japanese, I guess.
