You Are Incredibly Logical
Move over Spock - you're the new master of logic You think rationally, clearly, and quickly. A seasoned problem solver, your mind is like a computer!

The one thing that bothered me about this quiz is that it didn't say how many I got correct. I assume I got all of the answers correct, though. How about you?

Yep, we're both spectacularly logical... but it does not help bronchitis to vanish... at the risk of sounding like a mother hen, I hope you're drinking tons of water... it helps my spouse with his fairly regular bronchial attacks, at least...
cluck cluck cluck and best wishes for fast recovery...
ps. remember that chocolate has zinc, important for good physical & mental health...

Q5's a bit dodgy: how many socks do I need to take to get a pair? Precisely 2, because my socks go into the drawer bundled up into pairs with their playmates (don't most people pair their socks before putting them away?). How many shoes do I need to take to be sure of getting a pair? Assuming they're randomised and I can't tell anything by touch, etc., I'd say 9, because the first 8 could all be left shoes, so I need at least one right shoe! Or perhaps the question-setter has identical left and right feet? And that still doesn't guarantee that the socks will match the shoes -- blue socks with brown shoes, yuk!

I got the same score and I spent enough time thinking about them that I'm pretty sure I got all of them correct. Except for the QUIZ written as UYMD question, at which point I just guessed randomly.

When I changed a known correct answer to a wrong answer I became Pretty Logical. I did this for all the questions, so when you are Incredibly Logical you answered all the questions correctly.

#5 is clearly wrong.
you would need at least 22 socks to be sure but there is no 5 shoes, 22 sock choice

Doesn't pan out for me. If I change from a known correct to a known incorrect, the result was still Incredibly Logical. Changing two answers resulted in a downgrade to Pretty Logical. Thus, Incredibly Logical covered both 7 and 8 correct answers.

My experimenting went the same as JP's- it takes two incorrect answers to go from "incredibly logical" to "pretty logical".

For Ben: it's a simple substitution cipher where each letter is replaced by the one 4 letters later in the alphabet. thus, A becomes E, B becomes, F, Z becomes D and so forth. HEAD then becomes LIEH.
