I thought I was done sharing pictures from the wall surrounding the Old Town portion of Tallinn, but I was wrong. After looking through my images today, I realized I have more that I want to share with you.

The wall.

This is a look at the wall as it curves around the city. I really like this image because there is so much to see and the gentle curve of the wall and the narrow streets really add structure to the image.

how many millions of people have walked on these same walkways throughout the many centuries since they were first constructed?

Flowers through the window.

Here is a pot of flowers sitting on a rooftop that I saw through one of the windows in the wall.

These buildings were photographed while I leaned over the railing at the far end of the wall. This particular picture was one of many that I took when it became obvious that I'd seen and photographed everything while on the wall, but I just was taking more pictures because I wanted to preserve this memory, everything about it, forever. But eventually, reluctantly, I realized it was time to go because time remaining before the ferry left was growing short and there still was so much more to see.

Very nice, all of them, but the composition/color of the single street lamp was worth looking at twice and again. Can hardly wait for the pics from Antarctica..go team!

i was quite pleased with the lamp image, too, which is one reason it is waaay up there at the top, above the jump. :)

and thanks for your vote. we shall see how things change in these next five weeks, since there are several tens of thousands of votes now, and people can reassign their votes (and probably will, in the waning hours of the contest).
