You've Just GOT to Read This

My e-pal, Digital Cuttlefish, who is "teh Bard ov da Intert00bz" wrote this amazing poem publicly promoting my candidacy as official Antarctica blogger. Now, I have to tell you that there are several things about this blog entry that I find amazing.

First, this poem is great! I know for a fact that Digital Cuttlefish wrote this poem in less than 24 hours because last night I asked him if he could ask his readers to help me out. And this morning, I find this wonderful poem waiting for me. How many of us could write a poem in such a short time span? Second, this poem made me cry. It is so inspirational, so sweet, that how can I not feel moved by it? 'nuff said about that!

Third, I was astonished to learn that Digital Cuttlefish has such little traffic .. only one hundred readers per day on average?!? HELLO? He deserves ten times as many! That, my friends, is a grave injustice to his tremendous talents and cleverness, and a sad impoverishment in the public's reading pleasure. If you have never read this fascinating blog, where the events of the day are described in verse, then you really have missed out on a rare and wonderful treat. So without further ado, GO THERE NOW and read this poem while you sip your coffee and munch your cookie, and then look around his blog and read more of his poetic insights.

Um... actually, much less than 24 hours; I was talking with Podblack last night, and shared it with her then. Christopher Marlowe did all the heavy lifting, so this one was easy.

But, gee, thanks, Grrl, but let's hope it actually works and gets you the votes you need!

thanks, DC. and of course, i want you to get the readership that you deserve, too! and, unlike my dream to go to antarctica, helping to increase your readership is something that is the one sure thing that i can do!

Cuttlefish manages to write incredibly fast... You can be astonished to see him put up a topical poem on PZ's blog in the 1st 50 comments (quite a feat for that blog...) and then notice that he has referrenced another comment only 10 above! I think he poetisizes in real time.
