    I really appreciate the photos, so it always feels bad when I start complaining… however:

    käytäväsivut = appr. ‘sides of the passage’. ‘Sivu’ isn’t really good, unless you want to say that something is on the side of a passage, i.e. on the walls of a passage or besides the passage. If you want to say that here are the walls of a passage the best way is imo “käytävän seinät”.

    or, if you really meant just the doorway:

    doorway = oviaukko –> Oviaukko Suomenlinnassa.

    And don’t worry, even I had to ask my mum for help with this 😉

    Now that’s odd. I wrote a comment to this last night when it appeared in my feed, but obviously it never showed up. As I’m sure you can guess, it was along the same lines as Niko’s comment, although – to be honest – much more rambling and less helpful.
