Respectful Insolence

"A statement of fact cannot be insolent." The miscellaneous ramblings of a surgeon/scientist on medicine, quackery, science, pseudoscience, history, and pseudohistory (and anything else that interests him)

Who (or what) is Orac?

orac.jpg Orac is the nom de blog of a (not so) humble pseudonymous surgeon/scientist with an ego just big enough to delude himself that someone, somewhere might actually give a rodent's posterior about his miscellaneous verbal meanderings, but just barely small enough to admit to himself that few will. (Continued here, along with a DISCLAIMER that you should read before reading any medical discussions here.)

Orac's old Blog is archived at Archived Insolence.

I think I like Doctor Who better this way...

...or at least the Cybermen would be more entertaining:

Now, if I could only see a Dalek episode redone this way. Imagine how the Daleks would sound.

(Hat tip: Jody.)

And while I'm doing the Sunday Doctor Who thing, who ya gonna call?

I found the second one funnier, can't wait to see how they introduce Freema Agyeman, the new assistant.

Put me on the list of eager folks for Doctor Who Season 3! I'm very excited to see how they establish the new assistant too, and how Martha will differ from Rose.

Oh that first one was hilarious! I'm from the West Indies so I really appreciate the translation for "we". I'm going to have to borrow it for my blog. Duck Man, that was beautiful.

LMAO at the Daleks. Also waiting on season 3. Thanks the tech gods for my DVR. I infected my 14 year old son with the love for ridiculously bad science fiction. He says,"I shake my fancy French butt at you! phtttttttttttttt!!!!!"
