Orac is the nom de blog of a (not so) humble pseudonymous surgeon/scientist with an ego just big enough to delude himself that someone, somewhere might actually give a rodent's posterior about his miscellaneous verbal meanderings, but just barely small enough to admit to himself that few will. PZ mentioned it, but, after having seen it, I thought I'd give it a plug too, mainly because my readership skews more towards the medical blogosphere than PZ's does, and a new blog this promising should be publicized to other medical bloggers. It's by a graduate student in Biomedical Visualization at the University of Illinois at Chicago and is called Street Anatomy.
As a surgeon, I'm a sucker for a good anatomic illustration and a history lesson, and the blog promises to teach a bit on how the medical illustration biz runs.
