Basic concepts–patience

I know, I know. I’ve been a bad boy. I’ve been meaning to join in everyone else and produce a couple of “basic concepts” posts. Somehow, I’ve just been distracted. The problem is, blogging is my hobby. It’s what I do for enjoyment. Writing a “basic concepts” post seems too much like work and grant writing (of which I’ve had way more than my fill lately).

Still, I feel obligated to do at least one or two of these posts in my area of expertise. I wouldn’t want to be a ScienceBlogs slacker, after all.

OK, but if you don’t submit it by the end of next week, you fail this subject.

I don’t think this is the right place to contact you but I have a woo example for you. I actually found a flyer for this place floating around the break room of my research institute and was instantly discusted, followed quickly by very amused when I looked into what it was.

Did you know you can instantly stop smoking for the low low price of £300 (5 or 6 hundred bucks). How?, with the wonder of bioresonance!

For a moment, I thought you were saying that patience was a basic concept for evidence-based medicine.
