Category: General
Posted on: December 7, 2006 3:44 PM, by Ian Hart

Welcome to the Integrity of Science Blog, a project of the Pacific Institute for Studies in Development, Environment, and Security.

The Pacific Institute's Integrity of Science Initiative responds to and counters the assault on science and scientific integrity in the public policy arena, especially on issues related to water, climate change, and security.

This blog will be used to feature commentary and criticism, highlight news stories, and allow readers to provide their own experiences and insight into this trend. We will pay particular attention to changes in attitude and practice in Washington D.C. following the November 2006 Congressional flip.

Founded in 1987 and based in Oakland, California the Pacific Institute is an independent, nonpartisan think-tank studying issues at the intersection of development, environment, and security. You can learn more about the Institute at www.pacinst.org.
