This is so timely a post when the WaPo has just come out with yet another story as to how our President of Vice, Dick Cheney worked over the situation with the Klamath River farmers for the benefit of winning votes in a key district. Chris may have moved on to other subjects, but the full story of The Republican War on Science has yet to be told.

Todays WaPo on Klamath Salmon and the heavy hand of VP Cheney.

Thanks, Sheril, I can always use a good laugh. Did you take this picture? If so, awesome....

I did ;) Glad you like. Lots more to come!

Loved the photo, but I must say that the analogy to Cheney is mixed.

He can be disruptive as a bull elephant in a china shop, but the WaPo article talks about his skills at stealth, which the headline ("Leaving No Tracks") emphasizes.

He's a rampaging elephant with an invisibility cloak.

I've decided to admire the picture and stop thinking about the Veep. It's the only way to stay sane until January 20, 2009.

Gorgeous elephant...
How close were you when taking this picture?

Yes, how close were you to the elephant?
