I'm Getting Very, Very Worried About Hurricane Season

[Atlantic Sea Surface Temperatures: A Whole Lot of Energy Just Waiting for a Storm]

I've just blogged over at the Daily Green about the latest tropical developments. I'm a bit stunned that we're on our fourth named Atlantic storm--and likely soon enough, our second hurricane--and it isn't yet August.

This isn't good people. This is almost on pace with 2005, and we all know what happened in August, September, and October of that year.
