Switek's first book, Written in Stone, will be published next year by Bellevue Literary Press.

It's funny as soon as I saw the picture, my first thought was NC aquarium, which I have been to a bunch. Apparently it was right state wrong site.

What is it about otters that make humans see them as so insanely cute? I mean, otters will make me "squee!" in a way that kittens even won't.

I am the keeper of this exhibit. Love the photo. That is "Maggie" our 14 year old female. Be on the look out for the two young breeding pair that we will be introducing to the exhibit at the end of next month. Thank you for sharing.
