Via Greg Sargent, we learn that Blue Dog Democrat Senator Ben Nelson is still a repulsive person.

Total Reductions: $80 billion

Eliminations:

Head Start, Education for the Disadvantaged, School improvement, Child Nutrition, Firefighters, Transportation Security Administration, Coast Guard, Prisons, COPS Hiring, Violence Against Women, NASA, NSF, Western Area Power Administration, CDC, Food Stamps

Fucking unbelievable. Intelligent Designer knows that Democrats can be pretty screwed up, but, underneath it all, we used to stand up for the poor, for education, for public health, for science.

Senator Nelson is an awful human being.

    haha…and the bridges are collapsing and public school system sucks, though that’s not really about money.

    but on the positive side, you can now take out your frustration by beating your wife.

    Blue dogs are not really democrats, they are republicans who are not crazy enough to be in the party. Its like the situation we have here in MA. Most of the state politicians are democrats, but many of them really should be republicans based on their position on the issues. Its just that the republicans have gotten so crazy that you cant run as a republican in many areas and win.
    The blue dogs should form their own, third party. The “not-totally insane ex-republican party”.
