God I love Pinky And The Brain! But he missed the corpus callosum. Perhaps this explains why his plots to take over the world always come to naught.

My five year old loves pinky and the brain. I mean really, really loves it. He will randomly sing the theme song and it's one of the few songs he knows well enough to sing flawlessly every time. . .He is now very fond of this blog.

That was very funny. Do brains really look like that?

DuWayne - I'm so pleased your son likes my blog. Brains do look like that, and the anatomy in this clip is very accurate.

I was trying to explain that I'm pretty certain that it was accurate, but after explaining that you are studying neurology and what neurology is, he insisted on asking.

White core matter?

Posted by: Isaac | October 6, 2007 6:50 PM

Thanks, i needed that. I am fairly sure he says "white core matter" as in white matter makes up most of the core regions of the brain.

It sounds to me like he says "White core matter."

That's what I thought, but I wasn't sure.

Thanks for this! I have a large collection of Animaniacs/Pink and the Brain songs on disc, but haven't seen many of the videos. Pinky and the Brain and all of the Animaniacs "universe" was one of the few "kids" cartoons that I could stand to watch, and I am proud to say that my kids liked them enough to avoid the whole "Barney" phase.

I think so, dotk, but isn't Regis Philbin already married?
