I've heard of a few of them, and occasionally read ONE of them. In what strange bloggy universe do they live?
Which one? I don't want to read through all fifty pages of ads in that article.
My guess would be Pharyngula.
And people thought that computers would be a great educational tool. Like teevee.
The endarkenment continues...
Dave - you'd be wrong. It's Science Blog, which appears to consist largely of reproduced press releases.
The majority of the blogs they list are in the cool things to buy genera, reflecting the world at large where buying is on people's brains and science is not. It figures too, because PC magazine is all about what to buy (sometimes cool often not). So in fact are most of the media. Take the average broadcast news and science mostly gets airtime when it's going to lead to something marketable like a new cure or gadget. Scienceblogs are a rare and welcome exception.
