Looks like creationist paragon of moral fortitude Kent Hovind might be headed to the slammer.

Kent Hovind is charged with 58 federal counts, including failure to pay $845,000 in employee-related taxes and withholdings.

If found guilty, he faces a maximum of 288 years in prison. His wife, Jo Hovind, faces up to 225 years. Her charges include aiding and abetting her husband with 44 counts of evading bank-reporting requirements.

Don't drop the soap, Kent.

Ken deserves to be in jail he is dishonest and a cheat this is not the Christian way, many of his arguments are invalid and just downright wrong.
He was in it for the money and now he is paying the price for his evil ways. They should take all the money that he pilfered and help feed starving people.

You realise that goverment made you all think that Kent Hovind is a liar because they don't want you to know the truth about God, creation and the only truthful Bible! Hovind was against all evolution idea that our kids learn at school, and by what most of the people are fooled by! They wanted to destroy Hovind so people could not know the truth, it is all lie that Hovind in prison because of the taxes, the goverment just could not find another reason to hide Hovind in prison so he couldn't talk anymore about truth! People wake up!!! Listen to what God's telling you, don't be fooled by devil's tricks!!! The time is near, be prepared to meet God face to face! Thank you for reading my comment all the way to the end, all my words came from a heart, i pray for all of you!!!

Kent seems very intelligent and makes alot of good points. I feel sorry for the people who have been so convinced of what to believe and what not to believe that they will not even listen to a view point that MIGHT not be accepted by the majority. And even if it isn't accepted by the majority, is the majority view on things always correct?

What I've constantly heard from people who support the general evolution is that I better believe the "accepted" theories about it or I'm an idiot, douchbag, dumb, etc. What I've constantly heard from people who support the general creationist point of view is what they appearantly, wholeheartedly, believe to be true. We know people by what they do, when someone forces something on me, no matter what it is, even if I agree with what it is, I can't accept it because it was forced.

What Kent proclaims makes a deep sense. Whatever was the reason for his inprisonment is just another example of suffering of people who proclaim the truth.
