Happy Canada Day!  It looks like a pretty nice day here in the capital as well as the rest of the country - a great chance to get in some physical activity with your friends and family!  Enjoy the long weekend!

Sorry couldn't resist. :) However, the local farmer's markets are in business, so a nice plate of cultivated muscles with spring greens would make a nice way of celebrating the local culture while eating right.

Happy belated Canada Day to you too, from the capital! Did you brave the crowds downtown? Everyone and their grandmother was downtown to see the Queen.

Sorry for the late reply - I didn't get to see the Queen I'm afraid. I was working on school stuff in the morning, although I did head to the market for a deliciously cold beer in the afternoon.

@ Birger,

That's very interesting. I find the cannabinoid system's role in obesity fascinating. I'm hoping to check out the full text of the article next week.
