The Homunculus

steveSteve Higgins is a psychology graduate student at an online university. He hopes that the three weeks and $29.95 that he is spending on his Ph.D. will get him a job at a Tier 1 research university. Do online universities have postdocs? Ok...just kidding, Steve is a real graduate student at a real school.

Two New(ish) (to me) Blogs (sometimes) about Neuroscience

Category: LinksNeurosciencePsychology
Posted on: March 26, 2007 7:45 AM, by Steve Higgins

I just added two new blogs to the blogroll (which I hate doing for some reason).

ginny.jpg
The first is Ginny's who is a staffer here at ScienceBlogs and is a freelance science writer. Her blog is named Sequitur. You can also find links to all her science writing on the sidebar. What's that blog name about Ginny?

kate.jpg
The second blog I discovered when Kate left some good comments on some of my posts :) The Anterior Commissure "was started as a new year's resolution with the intention of developing a better understanding of the field of science in a more global context. It has become a horrible distraction from labwork." Kate is a neuroscience grad student in NYC. What do you study Kate?

thx for shoutout...though i'm just seeing this now. oops. suppose i should amend my little intro to read that not only is blogging a horrible distraction, but so is keeping up on others' blogs.

loosely, i research the unique reward state of postpartum, focusing on females' responsivity to natural/ pharmacological stimuli immediately after giving birth. what do you (both) study?
