Some sort of trade descriptions act (UK only?) ought to apply to the naming of things. Those worms aren't flat. They're all frilly and ripply. :-D
It probably happens a lot. The synapsid name turned out to be wrong. The Big Bang naming was deliberate sabotage though.

I noticed this a while back and it's really cool. I think that flatworms have the right idea myself, just have a quick tussel and the loser ends up with the babies. The perfect reproductive system and really gives meaning to the term 'penetration'.
