Missing weblog!

Hey, does anybody know what's happened with The Inoculated Mind? They're scheduled to be the next host for the Tangled Bank, and the site seems to be down.

If that's your weblog, get in touch with me soon.

There is currently no DNS entry for www.inoculatedmind.com. The domain registration expired on Tuesday:

Registrar of Record: TUCOWS, INC.
Record last updated on 11-Apr-2005.
Record expires on 11-Apr-2006.
Record created on 11-Apr-2005.

so my guess is that the site owner either decided not to renew, or just overlooked the renewal.

Hmm, it shows up on Google cache:

Looks like his last post was April 8 - just 6 days ago.

Just before I saw this post I noticed that Innoculated Mind left a message on Ed Brayton's blog (at http://scienceblogs.com/dispatches/2006/04/creationist_responses_to_tikta.php#commentsArea) Maybe you should leave a message there for him; he might be revisiting to see responses.

I didn't know you cared so much, PZ! Oh wait, it's because of the Tangled Bank... heh.

I've already let PZ know what's going on, my hosting provider has not renewed my domain, even though I sent them a check over a week and a half ago. Unfortunately, they left me no option except a check. It couldn't have happened at a worse time!
It should be up again early next week, so send the submissions to PZ until my site/email (yes it has affected that too) is fixed.

Or maybe he didn't overlook the renewal. I had my business site with Registerfly (for a few years now) but the past year have had increasing problems with them - the latest being that my site expired even though it had been renewed. I also looked at the cached page and it had been updated on the 8th - the owner appears to be Karl J Mogel. Unfortunately, the e-mail address: karl AT inoculatedmind DOT com is through his site but google comes up with several alternative e-mails (e.g., mind AT ktkgalaxy DOT net -although they could be outdated). It also appears he may be contacted through vicasting DOT com
He appears to podcast as well and has recent entries so I'm inclined to agree with the registration renewal oversight or related issue.

Glad to see the Inoculated Mind will be back; he's also scheduled to host the Skeptics' Circle in October.

On a related note, what happened to the Philosophy of Biology blog ? Posting there stopped when the Daniel Dennett-Michael Ruse exchange became public. Ruse was one of the contributors. Coincidence?
