Tangled Bank #109
Category: Carnivals • Tangled Bank

Greg Laden has created a festival of LOLcats for the latest edition of the Tangled Bank. Should I be appalled or amused? Science is serious business! We never laugh, we're all supposed to be like Mr Spock!

"We never laugh, we're all supposed to be like Mr Spock!"
Spock had a good laugh from time to time, even if it was against his will. Just pretend you're infected with alien spores.

Dang, it's quiet over here.

Science is just science until it goes into the lab where the transubstatiation occurs.

Myers is playing Russian roulette. He just keeps pushing the envelope in seeing how many people he can possibly offend in the worst way. It's just a matter of time before someone with a terminal disease, a month left to live, decides he hasn't got anything to lose by taking out Myers along with him.
Scary.

Uh-oh. Be on the lookout for Catholics with terminal cancer.
On second thought, just stay away from Lourdes, and you should be fine.

Now THAT would be a hate crime. See no crackers involved. I will wager that if that ever happens, the guy who tries it will be a christian.
I hate lolcats.

If this is for real, then Dave Scott is a really nasty bit of work. That is incitement to some nut to commit murder of a valuable, respected, loved, useful person, over a non-existent, bronze-age, pre-philosophical, insane, mental aberration.
I see this incitement as a hate crime.

Catholics threaten lives, atheists threaten a cookie. Yeah, we're scary.

Now remember, even Spock wasn't immune to the wilting cuteness of cuddly little furballs. Come to think of it, I have yet to see a LOLtribble...
