A website dedicated to chronicling the lives, injuries, and money lost due to a lack of critical thinking. Woah. Is it just me or is there is somethink kind of creepy about assembling this kind of website?

Well, there certainly are creepier pastimes. But exposing the inherent danger in these alternative methods is still a worthwhile cause.

Collecting "anything" is a little bit odd, a little obsessive-compulsive, but still fairly common.

But if you are going to collect "something", then quantified anecdotes of lunacy seems a pretty good choice.
