Reminder that Sandra, Maria, Grrl, and I will be Ozzies this Saturday. Translation: beer! That's Saturday, Sept. 27th at 4 pm in the upstairs mezzanine at Ozzie's. The address is 105 W. Mercer St., Seattle, WA 98119. That's in lower Queen Anne just east west of that gigantic need with a spaceship stuck on top of it.

Dave Bacon is a theoretical ski bum who is also an assistant research professor at the University of Washington in Seattle. His research is on quantum computing, his scientific passions extend to everything in physics, mathematics, computer science and beyond, and his personal pleasures include making wine, playing poker, skiing, camping, and daydreaming (although not all of those at the same time.)

Hmmmm ... according to Google Maps, Ozzie's is about 1 klick NW of the Space Needle (not east) ... but I'm sure I'll find Ozzie's OK!
It appears that Grrl may be a Master Birder ... my wife is one too ... so perhaps there is the possibility of some Seattle Urban birding?
