You look kinda wet there Dave. Haven't you ever heard of tying it to the roof?

How would tying it to the roof keep me dry?
In the pnw we don't much notice being wet.

Sorry. Non sequitor there. My second sentence was unrelated to my first sentence. I was commenting on the fact that you put it in your car. I have honestly never seen anyone put a Christmas tree inside their vehicle before.

Mrs. Pontiff looks kind of like a skinny dude.

this brings back childhood memories. we used to drive in to Idaho from Spokane to chop down a tree every year.

Did you see how scrawny that tree was? No way was it going to survive the interstate to get it back home :)

I wonder about that now. I think we used to go up around Coeur d'Alene, and on the way back we'd stop at a diner, get a greasy burger and it would be dark long before we got home. We didn't stuff the tree in the car. That would've been crazy - with my parents in front and three kids in the back seat.
