Cappuccino as Art

More like this

Neat. But, I imagine after a bit of time, the artwork could become pretty jagged and spastic as a result of a wicked cappuccino overdose.

But, then again, you have to suffer for your art, doncha?

I had a few too many shots of espresso when I stopped off at the Bellevue Art Museum on my way to PAX a couple years ago. I walked in, smelling coffee in the air, and thought "hey, why not grab a latte to drink while I walk around." The young woman behind the counter rapidly drained my wallet as she produced five more lovely designs after drawing out my exclamations of skill and wonder through the first. (I think she was bored, since it was early and there were very few people in attendance.)

Since she wouldn't charge me for more than one latte, I told her I was leaving the money on the counter for her (since she was far too modest for taking it directly, I suppose) because simply watching her artistry was well worth the price of admission. (The coffee was REALLY good, too!)
