Online Nanotech Interactive Dialogue

Category: Technology
Posted on: October 28, 2007 4:37 PM, by Karen Ventii

Last week the Project on Emerging Nanotechnologies (at the Woodrow Wilson Center) and Consumer's Union hosted a dialogue about nanotechnology consumer products.

The dialogue was a major effort to reach out to the American public and engage conversation about the potential benefits and risks of nanotechnology and nano in consumer products.

I think it's a great initiative. The site provides a wealth of information concerning the numerous (over 500) consumer products that use nanotechnology.

Access the site here for more information.

Searching around I found "The Twinkie Guide to Nanotechnology". A good introduction to the science. (25 min.)

Craving a Twinkie big time. ;)

Hi, I'd advise more skepticism when it comes to the Wilson Center's "500 consumer products" list.

False claims inform consumers as they 'talk nano'
