Past, present, future under one roof (Mommy Monday)

ScienceGrandma is in Mystery City for a visit this week, so we've got three generations of strong, scientifically-inclined women enjoying some time together. ScienceGrandma is a retired science professor, so it's interesting to hear her commentary on my day-to-day. Some things have changed since she started teaching (overt discrimination) and others haven't. Minnow is already starting to warm up to her (they hadn't seen each other since Christmas) and I'm sure that when they go for a walk and touch the tree bark and look at leaves together, they'll both be perfectly happy.

For my part, I'm trying to minimize my time at work (and on the computer) so that I can enjoy some time with my mom and daughter. Expect posting to be light (for my part) this week.

Hi Sciencewoman! Have a great time with the older and younger generation. It sounds like fun. Coincidently, I'm meeting up with my mother today, and I'll actually be at the airport near you for about two hours waiting for my connecting flight. Have a wonderful time!
