Ask A ScienceBlogger

Category: AnnouncementScienceBlogs
Posted on: May 8, 2006 11:45 AM, by Katherine Sharpe

This is the debut of a new weekly feature on ScienceBlogs. It's called Ask A ScienceBlogger, and it is Sb's own mini blog carnival -- a chance for the bloggers to weigh in, briefly, about a question of general interest.

This week's question is:

If you could cause one invention from the last hundred years never to have been made at all, which would it be, and why?

Check back to Stochastic on Wednesday for a full, annotated run-down of the bloggers' answers. In the meantime, check a few early responses here, here, and here. Oh, and here.

To suggest a question for the next Ask A ScienceBlogger, leave a comment, below. (And stay tuned for a dedicated email address, soon.)

Not sure if this is a right place... We have growing electronic newsletter mailing list, and I'm desperate to find decent, reasonably priced software or shareware for list management and distribution. We've been using Outlook and ACT and they're not working well. I was found bulk email software for sending newsletter. Are there other good options to help save my sanity? Does anyone know of any good hosting company that can handle bulk email? We need to send newsletters to about 900 customers without the hassle of restrictions. Thanks!

Hello
We are looking for blog expert to ask a question. We are a technology company, which uses technology to produce prototypes of our customers. Its a pretty new technology, we produce plastic part for individuals and companies working on new projects directly from there CAD files, just like hitting print on your computer. But instead of getting a drawing you get an actual plastic part. We would like to possibly use blogging to let those who might be interested in developing there own ideas into products know about our business. We are not savvy to blogging though and do now know were or how to use blogging to get to the correct interested individuals.

Thank for any assistance or suggestions
