Bueno, No Sano.

I enjoy the occasional chain-store burrito. I consider(ed) them a healthy alternative to traditional fast food. Then I entered my personal burrito preferences into this Chipotle nutrition calculator:

Chipotle Nutrition Facts
Serving Size:
1 Burrito
Amount Per Serving
Calories 840 Calories from Fat 229
% DV*
Total Fat 26g
Saturated Fat 9g
Cholesterol 30mg
Sodium 2528mg
Total Carbohydrate 123g
Dietary Fiber 10.5g
Sugars 4g
Protein 30g
Vitamin A 60%
Vitamin C 50%
Calcium 45%
Iron 26%

Those are the nutrition results for a tortilla with rice, beans, lettuce, salsa, and cheese: no meat, sauteed vegetables, sour cream, guacamole, or chips. Granted, one of these burritos is about the size of a small cat--but still, 26g of fat?!

Where does your burrito weigh in?

Holy frijoles! A chicken burrito bowl with cheese and sour cream is actually worse, at 38 g fat and 844 calories! Without cheese and sour cream, it's a modest 19 g fat and 614 calories.
