More than 85 evangelical Christian leaders have banded together to form the Evangelical Climate Initiative, a group aimed at mobilizing conservative Christians against climate change.

They kicked off their campaign this month with a television spot and full-page print ads in The New York Times and Christianity Today.
Signatories take the following as their manifesto:
Claim 1: Human-induced climate change is real.
Claim 2: The consequences of climate change will be significant, and will hit the poor the hardest.
Claim 3: Christian moral convictions demand our response to the climate change problem.
Claim 4: The need to act now is urgent. Governments, businesses, churches, and individuals all have a role to play in addressing climate change--starting now.
Another notch in the conservation movement's bedpost.

Yeah, pretty cool huh? Although, I don't know if we will "solve" the problem, but you all don't mind if we help right?

Yeah, the "enemy of my enemy is my friend", but so why do I feel so dirty about this?
I am thinking that I would like to have a livable environment avaialble to argue with the Christers how many angels can dance on the head of a pin.

What are they going to do? Pray?

dc: Probably, they'll do the same as you or I. Plus, when scientists and churches are lobbying you, it's harder to ignore than if it's just scientists.
