When the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden and the Genesis and Creation Museum announced a combined admission offer November 30, protest erupted in the blogosphere. "I believe the Cincinnati Zoo has betrayed its mission and its trust in a disgraceful way by aligning themselves with a creationist institution," said ScienceBlogger PZ Myers from Pharyngula, urging his readers to contact the Zoo. Subsequently, the zoo and the museum have removed the offer pages from their websites and the Creation Museum's president Ken Ham issued a statement of disappointment.

In all fairness to the Mighty Power of Pharyngula, it wasn't just the Pharynguloids involved. I'm in Cincinnati, and I mentioned the incident to a rational/secular/atheist friend of mine who rarely ventures into the blogosphere.
From him I learned that, quite apart from PZ + Sb, there was a large, motivated group of local and regional science and secularism advocates (including many Christians with doctrinal differences with Ken Ham) making phone calls, sending emails, and putting boots on the ground to make this happen.
I'm sure the blogosphere's contribution made an impact in terms of highlighting the scale and global visibility of the zoo's actions, but it also helped that there were dedicated local activists, scientists, and zoo members making direct, personal appeals.

I heard the dinosaur exhibits were cool/well-designed, but they ran into a problem; saddles. Problem is that the Creationist Museum is pushing a theory that the dinosaurs were still around in the time of Noah at most. Problem is that the physical evidence (the giant meteorite hole in the Yucatan) says otherwise.
People can jump up and down about "religious bigotry" but the last I checked there were no dinosaurs mentioned in the Bible. The Creationist Museum is pushing viewpoints nobody seriously believes in.

Actually some bibles do refer to dinosaurs. “ Job 40:15–24, God describes to Job (who lived after the Flood) a great beast with which Job was familiar. This great animal, called “behemoth,” is described as “the chief of the ways of God,” perhaps the biggest land animal God had created. Impressively, he moved his tail like a cedar tree! Although some Bible commentaries say this may have been an elephant or hippopotamus, the description actually fits that of a dinosaur like Brachiosaurus. Elephants and hippos certainly do not have tails like cedar trees!” - answersingenesis.org
People need to look at all science using scientific methods and not poo poo it because it goes against things ingrained in them.
They found depictions of dinosaurs on pottery in Peru. How did it get there? What about the White River Canyon of Natural Bridges National Monument in southeastern Utah that holds 3 etchings of dinosaurs in the cliffs? I'm not going to throw it out because I learned differently in school. What do all of the "Smart People" say about that?
The truly smart people keep their minds open and not close them simply because they are "smart". I don’t know the answers but I have a better chance of finding them when I explore every possibility.
