SBselfborder.jpg Signout is hospital slang for the transfer of information between patient care teams. It is also the name of this blog, which represents one of the less dysfunctional ways in which Dr. Signout copes with her participation in a U.S. medical residency program.

Science tattoos

Category: Miscellany

I can think of at least 20 regular readers who need to look at Carl Zimmer's collection of science tattoos immediately.

Some of them are lyrical, detailed, and beautiful. Others are tight, terse, and smart. Still others consist of carefully considered text. All are clearly quite meaningful to their owners, and endlessly wonderful to me.

You know who you are. Get over there.

That was fun. Even with the explanations, I don't get them all, but that's ok. Some were truly spectacular!
