The scars I mean crevasses are also haunting. It will be amazing to compare the ice cap before and after images. This glacier which had been retreating rapidly due to climate, has now added a whole new dimension to its melting. The ice cap is not small though and will not be gone. Gígjökull the largest outlet of the ice cap is a good example.
