Peonies are lovely. It is a shame they don’t last long; so here is one immortalised.
I think you’ll find your peonies will last better if you treat them to the occasional peolo match.
They certainly don’t, first bit of wind and/or rain and whompf, gone.
It would have looked much better in Japanese light. :)
Peonies are symbiotic with ants who help the buds open.

My girlfriend brought in some peonies from her garden. The smell is wonderfull; the ants not so much!
