Who am I?

John M. Lynch is an Honors Faculty Fellow at Barrett the Honors College at Arizona State University. He's also affiliated with ASU's Center for Biology & Society. When he's not an historian of anti-evolutionism, he's an evolutionary morphologist. Much to his surprise, in 2007 he was named the Arizona Professor of the Year. No doubt his students were surprised as well.

You scored as Existentialism. Your life is guided by the concept of Existentialism: You choose the meaning and purpose of your life.

"Man is condemned to be free; because once thrown into the world, he is responsible for everything he does."
"It is up to you to give [life] a meaning."
--Jean-Paul Sartre

"It is man's natural sickness to believe that he possesses the Truth."
--Blaise Pascal

Perhaps it simply means that I am an existentialist (I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case), but the quiz did seem a bit biased towards existentialism to me.

80% existentialism, 80% hedonism.

Works for me.

I, too, am a hedonistic existentialist. Does that mean I've defined self-gratification as the meaning of life and reached that conclusion on my own?

Existentially I'm an Existentialist. ;)

With tendencies towards hedonism.

I am convinced that Kierkegaard would've made a great children's writer. :)

Pure existentialism here, with strong hints of Utilitarianism and Hedonism.
