This is awesome. I love it. There could be one for My Hobby: Condemning women to hell for turning me down. Delerium would be great fun too.

And I thought I needed a haircut. (That is to say, I don't get it.)

Oh - "Ula" with one ell. "Ulla" is a woman's name - not that there's anything wrong with that.

My explaining the joke would kill it; instead, I advise picking up a copy of Sandman: Preludes and Nocturnes at your friendly local bookseller.

As for the name business, I don't get what you're on about.

Sorry, I didn't mean that I wanted an explanation.

My hobby is spouting off on smart peoples' blogs.

The name was in reference to the first commenter - I was momentarily taken aback by a woman saying "My Hobby: Condemning women to hell for turning me down."

Read Sandman and the "condemning women to hell" reference will make sense, too. The short version is that the Lord of Dreams doesn't handle rejection particularly well.

You may as well start at the beginning, though the first ones don't even compare to 'the kindly ones' or 'brief lives'.

And Ula (with one L) is a woman's name. It's my name.
