Yes, here’s me, Flintstone-style, riding a familiar artiodactyl. Have I written about babirusas on Tet Zoo? – - I can’t remember.
Thanks indeed Martinus, truly I am honoured. In real life, remember that babirusas need help: they are threatened by illegal hunting and habitat destruction on Sulawesi (visit Babirusa.Org for more).
Watch out for those tusks! They could do you a mischief if your steed stopped suddenly.

There’s a caricature of Charles Darwin riding a beetle all right, but AFAIK not of him riding a Megatherium; are you perhaps thinking of this 1873 caricature of Richard Owen?
(However, a live babirusa is a much cooler steed than a ground sloth skeleton, IMO. Probably more comfortable to ride, too.)
